FAQ For Career Seekers

Our goal is always to find the perfect fit the first time for both career seekers and our employer clients. Some recruitment companies will send high volumes of resumes to a potential employer (not necessarily a client of the recruiter) in the hope that the resume strikes a chord with a business and results in an interview. iTAC does not do this as we know the employer will tire from the constant bombardment of unqualified resumes from recruiters. We want to ensure that our employers know us for sending candidates to them that we have prequalified for their positions. We process our candidates as a means of properly qualifying their suitability for a specific role, or to be floated to a specific client/employer. This important step maintains the integrity of the “brand” for both the candidate and iTAC with prospective employers.

We understand the frustration caused when companies fail to keep candidates “in the loop” during the recruitment process. iTAC realizes that this can be particularly disconcerting when you are between jobs and recruiters are not keeping in touch regularly. When we are acquiring talent for specific roles, iTAC is committed to communicating with candidates (and client employers) in a completely transparent manner on a regular basis. When your perfect role comes available, iTAC will be in contact with you. Being a transparent organization is important to us and we will be honest in respecting those that won’t be suitable for a position or with a current employer we have contracted with. We have a strong belief that the relationship we have with our candidates is a long-term journey, one in which both parties need to invest. We encourage candidates to stay in touch with us, thus sharing the responsibility for staying “top of mind” with our consultants. Our promise, in this regard, is that we’ll be responsive.

Make sure your details on our system are always current, as some clients will ask us to undertake a database search for a particular role rather than advertising. Also, stay in regular contact with us to ensure that you are top of mind when opportunities arise.

If a resume contains the type of background that our clients generally require it will be retained indefinitely. We encourage candidates to forward updates following changes in location or employment status or information. Candidates’ resumes and the information contained therein will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We prefer that all resumes are forwarded as an attachment in an MS-friendly file format (i.e. .doc or .docx).
